I am not a morning person.
In fact, I have a love-hate relationship with waking up early in the morning.
My weekend rule : no one can disturb me before midday at least. I need to catch up on sleep.
That has changed slightly however recently.
One day last month, I noticed my yoga studio had introduced a new class : Power Pilates. I thought to myself: ” hmph, I would like to try this.”
However, I frowned instantly when I saw what time it would be starting : 7AM on a Saturday??
Heck no – that was the first thing that crossed my mind.
But I did give it a go once – and now I have been hooked since!
Despite disliking waking up SO early on a Saturday, I love how good I feel after the class.
I feel so energised. rejuvenated. and SO ready to face the day.
And my Saturday since then has always been a good one.
Don’t get me wrong. I still dislike waking up that early on a Saturday.
But I want to keep experiencing that feeling. again and again.
I push through my discomfort to experience that feeling. repeatedly.
It is worthwhile to push through our comfort zone and discover what is truly laying out there.
We might find the different side of us which we never know before.
We might discover what else we truly are capable of.
Limits exist only in our mind. Challenge it. Break it. Discover the fact.
