On New Years Eve, I started thinking about what would unfold for me next year : I would graduate as a Life Coach, and possibly be starting as one. I would be getting a long-service leave this year. What do I want to do after?
This could be a new beginning, I thought to myself.
However, I felt scared at that time.
As usual, I turned to my journal to unravel/investigate what was triggering this fear.
Was it, fear of the unknown?
Was it, fear of having a new life?
Was it, my ego’s need to have everything mapped out already?
I have overcome so many fears in the past
My motto has been “Feeling the fear and do it anyway”. I can deal with the ‘consequences’ later.
I discovered (other) skills that I had never thought that I had before.
I discovered that seeing other beautiful souls thriving gave me SO much joy.
And I am craving to do more of that, for a living.
“Siska, if you want to do more of this, by being a Life Coach, you could help others thriving. You could give out SO much more. ”
I am excited, but in the same time, also scared.
I learned, however, when that fear is accompanied by the feeling of excitement tagging along, that is truly a sign that we are heading towards the right direction, towards what we actually want., and we are getting closer to it.
The question is, are we brave enough to overcome that fear and grab the chances?
If we don’t give it a try, we would not know, correct? What is the worst possible outcome that could come out of it?
The common saying is, when we look back in our life, we will regret things that we did not do, not the things that we did.
Would you rather stay in your comfort zone and ponder what could have happened, or, would you take the plunge and go for it?
You’ve got this!
Be brave!
